Claim New Ground For The Kingdom Of God

feature photo

As believers, we are part of a conquering, Christian army, constantly working to claim new ground for the Kingdom of God. Right? Well, yes, at least that is the way it should be.

However, just about the time our army tops the hill and is ready to advance, it seems as if the devil pulls out his big gun and scatters believers in every direction. Exactly what is the devil’s big gun? His big gun and weapon of choice is DIVISION.

So, how can we strike back against the devil’s strategy of division? We do so by launching an even more powerful attack of our own by using one of the most powerful resources given to us by the Lord Jesus — the prayer of agreement.

Jesus said that if any two of us would agree as touching anything we ask, it shall be done.

Matthew 18:19 (AMP)

19Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.

That statement is so powerful that people can and do find it hard to believe. If they did believe it, we would find little groups of Christians huddled up in every corner agreeing together in prayer.

That being said, find someone to agree with in prayer this week, and be sure to base what you pray on the Word of God. You may have differing opinions about everything else, but you can be in agreement about God’s Word.

Also, be sure your agreement is total — spirit, soul and body. Cast down arguments, theories and imaginations that are contrary to God’s Word. Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Keep a watch over your thoughts and your words.

Then get your body in line by speaking the things you have agreed on. Using your faith, act as if you have already received the answer. Do not keep asking, instead thank God for it.

Hebrews 11:1 (AMP)

1NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Lastly, continue to stay in agreement and claim some new ground for the Kingdom of God.

God Bless!
