Increase The Kingdom And Love Always
As Christians, what is our destiny? Simply stated, our destiny is to do God’s will in our lives, increase the Kingdom of God and show love always. That word “always” tends to be a stumbling block for many. Therefore, to help get over it, I have attempted to provide a smooth path via the following.
- Follow God’s Word to succeed in life, especially for lessons regarding love.
- Refuse to sit in judgment of others — that is a job for God alone.
- If we do judge, we are opening ourselves up to major leaks in life, and we cannot afford leaks in any area of our lives.
- We do not want to put our focus where it does not belong — judging.
- Judging is a way for the devil to get in, and we should not give him an inch.
- God’s job is to judge, and the Holy Spirit’s job is to convict.
- Our job is to simply love others, so that is what we should do.
- We must not be distracted by what others say about us.
- We need to keep our mouths shut and our hearts open.
- If needed, we should speak the truth in love, but never speak it in judgment or guilt.
- Our overall goal is to have God’s best and share Him with others.
In summary, when people say bad things about us and we want to retaliate, we need to remind ourselves that it is not our job to judge. Moreover, when we feel like condemning someone else, even if he or she deserves it, we must not do it. Judging others will just open the door to the devil. Instead, let God, Who is the Higher Power, be the One to handle it. The devil wants a way into our lives, so do not give him the opportunity and shut the door in his face. In the end, we must obey God and refuse to judge others because our destiny is too important not to. That being said, the best advice is to heed to and do what Jesus instructed us in the following passage.
37Judge not [neither pronouncing judgment nor subjecting to censure], and you will not be judged; do not condemn and pronounce guilty, and you will not be condemned and pronounced guilty; acquit and forgive and release (give up resentment, let it drop), and you will be acquitted and forgiven and released.
God Bless!
